InPortsmouth
The InPortsmouth site is included here as it is the flagship of Community Internet Services. It represents the commitment to provide community information that lies at the heart of all CIS work.

Health Improvement and Development Services
This site was developed at the request of the Health and Social Care Department of Portsmouth City Council. It is a large site with over 100 pages which are accessed via a colour co-ordinated navigation system. It is one of a growing number of CIS sites that are managed on a day-to-day basis.

Fit4Life
A second site for the Health and Social Care Department of Portsmouth City Council, Fit4Life is built around a database of activities for the 50+ age group in Portsmouth. It has a hand built Content Management System which allows PCC staff to maintain the database from their own desks.

Royal Beach Hotel
The Royal Beach Hotel is a member of the Best Western Group and as such the web site had to conform to general principles laid down by the parent company. We incorporated these principles into a 25 page site which contains some unusual features. Check out the Christmas brochure.

History In The Making
History in the Making are used as historical advisors and suppliers of costume, armour, weapons, horses, extras etc for film, TV and Theatre Productions. It is important to them that they obtain a high search engine ranking. Specialist companies can charge £1000s to guarantee high rankings. We charge nothing for a routine submission of the site to the search engines.

Civil Services Pensioners Alliance
CIS offer registered charities special rates for design and hosting. This will vary according to means but often results in services being charged at or below cost price. One option is to pay the hosting charge and receive all design and updates free of cost.

Portsmouth Savers Credit Union
PSCU realised from the outset that having a web site was going to be an important part of their marketing strategy. Because it is a non profit making organisation, CIS carried out the design work at £25 plus VAT per hour. 10 page sites such as this can be built in 8-10 hours.

Portsmouth & Southsea Hoteliers Association
20 Southsea hoteliers came together to launch this joint site which costs them only £10 per year each. They further economised by opting for a sub domain of the InPortsmouth site.

Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust
Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust are based in Bursledon and they wanted a site that promoted their conservation work whilst also publicising events that take place at the Brickworks, the courses they offer and the traditional building materials they sell.

Albert Road Traders Association
We were delighted to be asked to set up a site for the Albert Road Traders Association, but had a real problem working out how to present 50 different businesses without giving undue preference to any one. As this became an experimental site we didn't charge our normal fee but it still came to over £400 for the design. We think our solution is neat. Have a look yourself.

Third Age Centre
The Third Age Centre website won an award at the Hantsweb Awards 2005. Unfortunately the future of the Centre itself is in doubt so the site may not be there much longer.
